- 1 part Nettles
- 1 part Red Raspberry Leaf
- 1 part Oatstraw
- 1 part Lemon Balm
- 1/4 part Spearmint
- 1/4 part Peppermint
- 1/4 part Alfalfa (avoid if you have clotting disorders)
Mix the herbs by hand in a large bowl until well blended. Use the moment as a meditation if you like, appreciating the herbs as allies for your health and for your baby’s health. Place 2 tblsp of the blend in a 1 quart jar. Cover with boiling water, place the lid on the jar. Steep 15 mins-4 hours, or even overnight for an extra-potent tea. Drink up to one quart throughout the day. Can be consumed hot or cold, as preferred. Store the remaining herbs in a clean dry jar for future use.
This tea is a nourishing blend containing calcium, magnesium, iron and gentle nervous system and stomach supporting herbs.
